v. 29-31
But let me say this dear brothers ans sisters: The time that remains is very short. So from now on, those with wives should not focus only on their marriage. Those who weep or rejoice or who buy things should not be absorbed by the weeping or their joy or their possessions. Those who use the things of the world should not be attached to them. For this world as we know it will soon pass away.
Reflection:
We should not attach ourselves to worldly pleasures and despair. For the Kingdom of God is not in this world. We do not belong in this world, for it is in heaven that we are truly meant to be. Never let the joys of the world overwhelm you as much that you may become conceited nor let the pains of this world to devour you as much that you may become dreadful. For in either case you are giving way to the devil to dwell within you and be part of this world that will soon pass away.

1 Corinthians: Chapter 6
v. 19-20
Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God brought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.
Reflection:
We should never try to engage ourselves in immoral acts concerning our body. For our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. We must not sin with it, for it is through our body that we are also able to glorify God. For it is Him who owns our body and not ourselves.

1 Corinthians: Chapter 5
v. 12-13
It isn't my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. God will judge those on the outside, but as the scriptures say "You must remove the evil person among you."
Reflection:
We should never associate ourselves with believers whom still continues to do evil. "For a rotten tomato placed with other non-rotten tomatoes will surely rotten them all". Thus, we must stay away from believers who still continue to do evil so that we may not become like them.

1 Corinthians: Chapter 4
v. 4-5
My conscience is clear, but that doesn't prove I'm right. It is the Lord himslelf who will examine me and decide. So don't make judgements about anyone ahead of time -- before the Lord returns. For he will bring our darkest secrets to light and will reveal our private motives. Then God will give to each one whatever praise is due.
Reflection:
We should never judge other people, for it is only our Lord Jesus Christ that knows what there lies in the hearts of men. At the same time, we could not be complacent just for the reason that our conscience is clear, for it does not necessarily mean that we are right. Thus, we must not alleviate ourselves of righteousness, for no men can ever be certain of his righteousness.

It is not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What's important is God makes the seed grow. The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hardwork. For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building.
Reflection:
The verse tells us that we should not render acknowledgement nor boast of the person which has taught us the Words of God or has lead us to remain in God's words. For it is not of the preacher's hand that we grew strong, but it is through our Lord Jesus Christ that we become strong.For it is the Hand of God that works in us so that we may grow stronger in faith and spirit. Also, let us be reminded that those who preach God's words are also servants of God whom are no different from us.

1 Corinthians: Chapter 2
v. 12-14
And we received God's spirit, so we know the wonderful things that God has fully given us. When we tell you this things. We do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit's words to explain spiritual truths. But people who aren't spiritual can't receive these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can't understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.
Reflection:
In understanding the Word of God, we should not use earthly wisdom to explain it, for it is foolish to do so. It is only through spiritual wisdom that we are able to interpret the truths of God. Thus, we must remain in our spirituality for us to be able to know the truths inscribed in God's scriptures and not be mislead by earthly wisdom.

The verse reminds us to remain humble, for whatever it is that we have attained in this world is nothing in the eyes of God. Thus, we should not be consumed in attaining such goals. We must free ourselves from worldly things, for it does not contribute in our quest to be one with our Lord Jesus Christ.
