1 Corinthians: Chapter 3

v. 7-9
It is not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What's important is God makes the seed grow. The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hardwork. For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building.

The verse tells us that we should not render acknowledgement nor boast of the person which has taught us the Words of God or has lead us to remain in God's words. For it is not of the preacher's hand that we grew strong, but it is through our Lord Jesus Christ that we become strong. For it is the Hand of God that works in us so that we may grow stronger in faith and spirit. Also, let us be reminded that those who preach God's words are also servants of God whom are no different from us.
