1 Corinthians: Chapter 4

v. 4-5
My conscience is clear, but that doesn't prove I'm right. It is the Lord himslelf who will examine me and decide. So don't make judgements about anyone ahead of time -- before the Lord returns. For he will bring our darkest secrets to light and will reveal our private motives. Then God will give to each one whatever praise is due.

Reflection:
We should never judge other people, for it is only our Lord Jesus Christ that knows what there lies in the hearts of men. At the same time, we could not be complacent just for the reason that our conscience is clear, for it does not necessarily mean that we are right. Thus, we must not alleviate ourselves of righteousness, for no men can ever be certain of his righteousness.
